Origin of Henna
Henna, in the western world, has become a modern-day phenomenon. Young girls all over North America and Europe rave about getting henna tattoos for a day on the beach, bridal shower fun, or event music festivals. No matter the occasion, women are seeming to flock to the ancient beauty secret for a quick bit of beauty and excitement. Interestingly so, henna has actually been a beauty go to for women, world over, since it's discovery centuries and centuries ago. The use of henna can be traced back to ancient Egypt, India, and Asia. Women would wear the temporary tattoos at a time of celebration. Today, women in these same regions of the world see henna as a necessary beauty product. Often women cover their arms, legs, and feet with henna when getting married. This is called a mehndi party.
